Family, Youth Memberships, One-Event Race Pass Now Available from the AMA
Racers now have a choice of one of five memberships: AMA Competition Plus, AMA Competition, AMA Family, AMA Youth or an AMA One-Event Pass.
AMA Competition Plus ($49):
This membership is for the racer who wants it all - AMA Roadside Assistance and all AMA member benefits. To be an AMA Competition Plus member, the racer must agree to have a credit card number and an email address on file with the AMA for automatic renewal of the membership each year.The racer will be notified by email about 30 days before the credit card is charged for membership renewal. This membership is for racers of any age, so even if the racer is a child the entire family is covered by roadside assistance.
AMA Competition Plus membership benefits include:
- 24/7 AMA Roadside Assistance covering cars, trucks, RV's and more for your entire family.
- Eligibility to take part in any of the AMA's 3,000 sanctioned events each year.
- 12 issues of American Motorcyclist magazine with the choice of a dirt or street focus.
- Discounts on gear, parts, rentals and more.
- FREE access to the members only portion of the AMA website.
- An AMA Competition Membership card, pin, patch and membership kit.
AMA Competition ($49):
This membership is for the racer who doesn't need the AMA Roadside Assistance. Payment can be made with credit card, cash or check.
AMA Competition membership benefits include:
- Eligibility to take part in any of the AMA's 3,000 sanctioned events each year.
- 12 issues of American Motorcyclist magazine with the choice of a dirt or street focus.
- Discounts on gear, parts, rentals and more.
- FREE access to the members only portion of the AMA website.
- An AMA Competition Membership card, pin, patch and membership kit.
AMA Family Membership ($98):
This membership is for the racing family and includes up to five AMA memberships for one low price. Under the Family Membership, one primary member receives all the benefits for the household and each family member receives an AMA card. To sign up for the Family Membership, a racing family MUST call 800-262-5646.
AMA Family Membership benefits include:

AMA Youth Membership ($29):
This membership is for the racer who is age 11 or younger. This membership has limited benefits and doesn't count toward an AMA Life membership.

- FREE access to the members only portion of the AMA website.

AMA One-Event Pass ($20):
The AMA One-Event Pass is for the racer who wants to participate in one competition event. Maybe he or she is just getting started and is not yet ready to commit to an annual AMA membership. If the one-event racer decides to race more events, then they can sign up for an AMA Competition Plus or AMA Competition Membership for only $29 because $20 has already been paid.
