OHM Safety Training
OHM Operators under 16 years old are required to have an OHM Certificate to operate on public lands, frozen waters, and state or grant-in-aid trails in Minnesota.
The OHM certification can be obtained by completing the ATV online course. The following options are available. Note, there is NO required hands-on component to the OHM certification.
Ages 11 and older
MN ATV Rider's Safety Class online at:

Ages 10 and under
- Complete the MN DNR OHM Safety CD and receive your Certificate. To receive the free OHM Safety CD, please contact the DNR Information Center toll free 1-888-646-6367. Instructions for completing the certification class and paying for your course are on the CD.
